Clarebosch was founded by Anne De Vries in 1997. Anne’s love and dedication enabled many children reach their potential. I was fortunate to have all 3 of my girls taught by her. I joined her staff in 2012; with Anne retiring at the end of 2015 I have taken the “baton” from her and will continue with Kids@Clarebosch.
Our focus is to provide a fun, secure and nurturing environment, where children learn through play. Each child is viewed as an individual where they are encouraged to develop to their full potential, at their own pace. Providing them with a safe environment for them to grow into confident, caring beings that are able to deal with all that the wonderful world presents to them.
We aim to prepare them for “big-school” by developing a love for learning in each child Kids@Clarebosch is a Christian based school where Bible stories and songs will be part of our routine.
I, Michele Hansen, am passionate about educating young minds and am incredibly privileged to be a teacher.
I have been involved in education for twenty years (having taught at Kendridge, Rondebosch Boys Preparatory, Micklefield and Clarebosch).
I have a HDE in Foundation Phase and a further diploma in Remedial Education. I am a mother of three daughters.
Pamela is our classroom assistant and has been working with me since 2002.
She is a mother of two and her nurturing and loving ways endear the children to her. She has an Educare certificate and is studying teaching through UNISA.
